There are a lot of animals on the Earth.

Some animals are wild: elephants and monkeys, tigers and cheetahs, pandas and bears, lizards and crocodiles, pythons and snakes, wolves and foxes, whales and many others.

They live in the grasslands, rainforests, mountains, deserts, jungles, valleys and oceans. Some wild animals eat plants, another ones eat animals.

Some animals are domestic. They are horses, cows, dogs, cats, sheep, ducks, hens, pigs and so on. They usually live at home or on farms and in the villages. People take care of them. Domestic animals give people milk, eggs, meat.

A lot of people are fond of animals. That's why they have different animals and birds as pets.
